I provide expert guidance through life's challenges. My approach is rooted in empathy, understanding, and professional experience.
My core approach is humanistic and integrative, grounded in the belief that healing happens in safe, collaborative relationships where you are met with warmth, respect, and careful attention. My path into psychotherapy has been both professional and deeply personal. For over a decade, I have been committed to my own inner journey — engaging in long-term therapeutic work, reflective practice, and ongoing personal development.
I believe the most meaningful therapeutic relationships are shaped not only by training, but by lived experience, humility, and a genuine willingness to keep learning.
I am particularly interested in the integration of mind and body, and in how our nervous systems carry experiences that words alone cannot always reach. I work at your pace, honouring your unique history and capacity. I believe growth is possible at any stage of life — not through force or pressure, but through presence, safety, and a respectful unfolding.
I hold an Honours Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Middlesex University — a rigorous, clinically grounded programme that provided comprehensive training across a range of therapeutic modalities. This degree equipped me with a deep theoretical foundation in psychological principles, human development, and evidence-based practice, alongside extensive supervised clinical hours working with diverse client presentations. My training instilled a commitment to ethical, client-centred care and the reflective practice that underpins effective therapeutic work.
I am a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), Ireland's leading professional body for therapists. This membership reflects my dedication to upholding the highest standards of professional and ethical practice in the field. As a member, I have access to ongoing supervision and continuing professional development opportunities. I work within the IACP's established code of ethics, ensuring clients receive safe, quality care.
I am completing Intermediate Level training with Somatic Experiencing International as a professional Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. This body-based approach allows me to gently support clients in working with stress, trauma, and nervous system regulation in a paced, compassionate, and deeply attuned way.
Alongside my clinical work, I am a member of the Ubuntu Network in partnership with the University of Limerick. I am a facilitator of reflective practice within the Network Community of Practice. This work centres on supporting educators and professionals to develop deeper self-awareness, particularly around unconscious processes, emotional responses, and relational dynamics. It has strengthened my capacity to hold thoughtful, steady space for complexity, vulnerability, and growth.
